Mr. Collen is the person of the day. He organised an entire German debate for schools across Northern Ireland, and still managed to sprinkle a bit of “Collen Sparkle” over our debate speeches. He even went and bought a three-tier Black Forest Gateau cake. The man hosted the entire thing in Germ-lish, and bought Catherine, Joanne and I friggin’ giant German verb and grammar books...

(If I hadn’t already given Mrs. Doherty person of the day before, she would be today’s: she brought shitloads of doughnuts to Chamber Choir practice, and we’re starting A Boy and a Girl by Eric Whitacre. What a champ.)
Lucy Camlin is person of the day, for still being excited and proud of the Chamber Choir win. She’s busy as heck (as always) with the hockey final and...

Today’s person of the day is not a person, but, in keeping with approximately everything I’ve posted online today, my school’s Chamber Choir. I adore every single member of our little music family, and we did Mrs. D proud today! I can’t wait for Spring Concert ‘12 (concert #21), and Chamber Choir will definitely be what I miss the most about school.

Today’s person of the day goes to the little old man (honestly about 80) with the biggest sideburns I’ve ever seen, who works in the little music scores and manuscripts shop in Cambridge. Two years ago today!

Goes to whoever the hell decided to offer me a place in Uni. of Edinburgh. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and be prepared for the disappointment. Just a heads up.

The person of the day goes to the man at the Uni. of Aberdeen Parents’ Evening last night with the finely combed mustache who taught me that it’s not just Germans who aren’t fond of the good old British queue - most Europeans dislike it. He also taught me why.

Goes to Jessica, the nut. If you ever do end up with a room-mate, I strongly recommend not waking them up by violently swinging a tote bag at their head. Just saying, that could cause tension… hehe.

One university offer from Nottingham, and finally two from Aberdeen that I’ve been waiting for. And, hey ho, they’re attainable grades! Relief!

The person of the day is Kathryn, for being my little-not-really sis, who’s also a fair bit taller than me, and has been since P4. Just for being herself :)
